Cologne is famous for the carnival taking place each year in february.
At least seven days of partying. More than a million people are visiting our town in order to celebrate the fifth season. Catch a short “glimpse” of the Veedelszoch in the district of Ehrenfeld (each Veedel organizes a parade on Tuesdays). I made a recording of the scenery taking place in front of my appartement. Almost two minutes of singing and celebrating. In the beginning you hear the grand song “Mir sin kölsche Mädcher (We are girls from Cologne)”, being followed by a samba band. Everything goes wild - cacophonic carnival in Ehrenfeld.
